Calm Your Farm Australia, Creepy Clowns Have Been Scaring Our Nation For Years

0

The latest craze to sweep Down Under is stupid people, dressing up as stupid clowns and scaring the absolute ‘bedaylights’ out of people. But this is actually nothing new.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, there’s reports of sightings of creepy clowns around the nation, with police in various states warning that the craze – where ‘homicidal acting clowns’ charge at unsuspecting citizens – is likely to get someone hurt.

Also known as ‘natural selection’.

The craze started in the US in August and gathered steam in the last few days. It was rumoured to be part of a social media campaign to promote the upcoming cinematic release of Stephen King’s It, based on the novel of the same name.

It’s still not clear if that’s actually the case… or it’s just one of those incredibly stupid things – think planking – that catches on for no apparent reason.

Whatever the truth, creepy clowns have been plaguing our country for a very long time. Indeed the long-suffering residents of our nation’s capital have been enduring an influx of creepy clowns for at least 16 weeks of every calendar year.

And we have the proof. In another new Matilda exclusive, here are some of them are below… in no particular order of clownishness or creepiness.
