Matt Grudnoff is a Senior Economist at The Australia Institute. Matt studied economics at the University of Newcastle and has previously worked for the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. He joined The Australia Institute in 2010 and has written and presented on a wide range of economic issues. These include the mining boom's impact on the economy, mining and fossil fuel subsidies, climate change policy, and the budget and tax policy.
