Author: Madlin Sims

Madlin is a freelance writer and mother of two based in Canberra and surrounds. Alongside writing, Madlin was previously a small business owner in the nation’s capital but now works at a sanctuary for farm, domestic and wildlife animals. She has spent time volunteering with refugees, assisting them with settling into life in Australia. She aims to use her platform as a writer to not only address how the legal system treats sexual assault and domestic violence victims, but to also address the inequality of which First Nations people, asylum seekers, people with disabilities and the LGBTQIA community face in Australia.
