Author: Dr Mark Furlong

Dr Mark Furlong is an independent scholar and Thinker-in-Residence at La Trobe University’s The Bouverie Centre. Prior to university work, he practiced, consulted, taught and researched in a range of therapeutic and mental health settings with a particular focus on how personal relationships are experienced, understood and practiced. Mark’s most recent funded research has examined the relationship between homelessness and climate change and, a little earlier, the links between homelessness and premature death. In addition to several academic books and many referred articles, Mark has published with Arena, Overland and Dissent.
