Thomas J. Adams is Lecturer in History and American Studies at the University of Sydney. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. A longtime New Orleans resident, his research focuses on the history of labor, political economy, and social movements in America and particularly the U.S. South. He is a frequent contributor to the ABC as well as publications like Jacobin. His book along with Matt Sakakeeny, Remaking New Orleans will be available from Duke University Press in 2019.
