Last Heat Winner and on to the Final Round

Paul McShane is the winner of last week’s heat 9 of our cartoon competition. Congratulations Shane! He has won $250 cash and will go into the final round next week of the newmatilda.com cartoon competition for the $6,000 grand prize.

Thanks to everyone who had entries in each of the heats of the competition. Each of the heat winners enter the final round, plus a few highly recommended entries.

We will be announcing the winner online following the announcement on 29 October.

Judges for the competition include newmatilda.com’s Editor Marni Cordell, ex-Senator’s Natasha Stott Despoja and Andrew Bartlett, acclaimed illustrator Bruce Petty and our very own satirist Ben Pobjie.
